Bombshells Amid Kyev Siege as Larry Ray Has a Seizure and On the Eastern Front 1MDB Case Soldiers On

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell Book
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPNReview

EASTERN FRONT BY REMOTE, March 15 -- The war on Ukraine was everywhere, at least in the media, at least in NYC, Kurt's world. The Russians were encircling Kyev; they were firing rockets at buildings, seemingly at random. Zelenskyy, now a bigger figure in US politics than Joe Manchin, would be addressing the US Congress on Wednesday.

Amid this Kurt returned to the SDNY and there saw other refugees so to speak from the 1 Malaysia Development Berhad, who'd pulled back from the Eastern District court, the Eastern front so to speak. One told Kurt, no one is interested in that case anymore, it's all Ukraine Ukraine Ukraine.

Billions stolen and nobody cared anymore? The UN keeping it and nobody had ever really cared? Or taking it seriously? Or thought there was any prospect of the Malaysians getting it back?

Kurt wondered what Michael Randall Long was up to. He wanted to talk to Long about maybe representing him in the Second Circuit to oppose the appeal taken to his win in unsealing the financial information of the sex-abusing doctor Ricardo Cruciani. But Long was out on his own with his Malaysia client, encircling the UN so to speak. Maybe he was just in a coffee shop near there.

In SDNY the news was this Larry Ray, who'd squired Mikhail Gorbachev around before turning seemingly normal Sarah Lawrence College students into prostitutes and slaves. The trial started late and Kurt went up to the 24th floor to try to find out why. He was told, uh, Ray is now on his way.

Had Ray tried to stay in his cell, as had happened for one of the last pre-trial conferences, when Ray tried to fire the Federal Defenders?

It emerged that Ray had had a seizure, or at least the Federal Defenders said so. Was it uncharitable to doubt it? Ray was a master of manipulation if nothing else. The prosecutors showed the jury a video of Claudia Drury in a sweatshirt crying and looking into Larry's cell phone camera, repeating, I don't want to keep damaging your things.

Ray demanded, But what are your going to do about it? Prostitution, it seemed, would be the answer. Drury had supposed to take the witness stand today.

But at the lunch break an ambulance was called for Ray -- "Twenty Four Bravo!" Kurt heard -- and the afternoon session was canceled, to be made up in some other way, the judge said. Kurt would be stuck on the Southern front for a while, following the Eastern or the Donbas by remote. #TheWeaselsOfWallStreet.

Kurt had first heard of Jho Low while still in the UN, before he was thrown out. Jho Low appeared at a UN press conference in front of the ubiquitous and now defiled logo. #TheWeaselOfWallStreet, 1st in a new series
