identifying the Maxwell trial's chatty juror
Scott David, then put the ID on Patreon and
finally only after that, on his website and
into Google News.
Now
the push-back picked up, as it had from Prince
Andrew defenders. This was more nuanced. Some
people so much wanted the closure of Ghislaine
Maxwell being and remaining jailed (and, it
seemed, no one higher than her) that anything
that might undermine it shouldn't be reported,
they said.
Kurt
spent much of Sunday replying to such people,
mostly privately through Direct Message or
email. It was better than the United Nations
beat, where either people didn't care about
the slaughters and UN collusion he had
reported on, or responded with allegations he
was a spy for the Tamil Tigers, or Algeria, or
just tryint to sully the already-defiled
integrity of the UN.
Speaking
of which... Sunday night Kurt wrote to the UN,
20 people including Guterres, Fleming and
Dujarric, as well as Amina J. Mohammed of
Identity Thieves, then to Norway's UN mission
and Mona Juul, about photos of Kazakhstan
troops wearing UN helmets as the picked stun
grenades to throw at civilian protesters.
UNSG
Guterres had covered up his links to Maxwell,
and Juul her families financial links to
Jeffrey Epstein. But shouldn't have they to
respond to this more recent and public
outrage?
Norway was
already bragging about taking Guterres and
Security Council ambassadors away later in the
week on a retreat. The UN, always in retreat,
never held accountable. Kurt vowed to double
down. #MaximumMaxwell
