By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell book
BBC - Honduras - CIA Trial book - NY Mag

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Oct 31 – US Information Group LLC sued EBF Holdings, LLC for loans it called usurious, and for loan collections it said violated RICO, including a text message quoted in the complaint: "Vasia, if u think u will steal 250K n we will play by your rules u r mistaken."

On October 31, 2022, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge P. Kevin Castel held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

After Judge Castel inquired, it emerged it was clear if co-defendant Saadia Shapiro is represented by counsel.

Judge Castel set a new conference for January 9, 2023 at 11 am, and asked the plaintiffs to inform him in writing by close of business November 1 if they intend to further amend their pleading.

The case is US Information Group LLC et al v. EBF Holdings, LLC et al., 22-cv-6661 (Castel)
