Intelligent Change Is Sued For Theft in Card Game From What Do You Meme in SDNY

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell Book
BBC - Honduras - CIA Trial Book - NY Mag

SDNY COURTHOUSE, August 6 – What Do You Meme, LLC sued Intelligent Change, LLC for alleged use of its copyrighted work in a card game.

On August 2, 2022 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York  Judge Jed S. Rakoff held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Judge Rakoff said depositions are due by November 22, with a pre-trial conference on January 3, 2023.

The plaintiff wants a jury trial; Judge Rakoff said that's fine for now.

The case is What Do You Meme, LLC v. Intelligent Change, LLC, 22-cv-5065 (Rakoff)
