Trump Place Condo Is Sued For Discrimination Against Handicap But Leak Is Focus in SDNY

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Sept 30 –    Joanne Noel Higgins was looking for a "forever home" in the 120 Riverside Boulevard at Trump Place Condominium, to accommodate her disability.

But a leak has come in the way and made her homeless, according to her lawsuit.

On September 30 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Lewis J. Liman held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Higgins' lawyer pointed out that the case as discimination aspects. But that was beyond the scope of the proceeding at this point. The sellers, the Gallianis, are also in the mix, and want to move to dismiss. Any motion for equitable relief is due October 15.

The case is  Higgins v. 120 Riverside Boulevard at Trump Place Condominium et al., 21-cv-4203 (Liman)
