Woman Suing medQuest for Age and Gender Discrimination Cites Moonlighting Man

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Oct 5– Cindy Conahan worked at MedQuest Ltd from 1991 until August 2019. She says she was harassed and fired because she is a woman over 60 years old.

On October 5 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Lewis J. Liman held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Conahan was called a drug addict by a supervisor 20 years her junior.

By contrast "Defendants have allowed a director of medQuest - who is male - to remain employed despite the fact that this male employee has a personal, separate and independent business that he works on while he purportedly is on the clock for medQuest."

A request was made an extension of discovery. Judge Liman agreed but said there will be no more extensions.

The case is Conahan v. medQuest LTD et al., 20-cv-1325 (Liman)
