When Holborn Sued Ramsdell SDNY Judge Ramos Said He Hopes To Not See Them Again

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - The Source

SDNY COURTHOUSE, May 28 –  Weatherly J. Ramsdell was the Director of Media Relations at Holborn Corporation and agreed to an Amended Loyalty Agreement, not to solicit any clients within 18 months of employment.

Now Holborn has sued Ramsdell a/k/a Hammond, and sought a Temporary Restraining Order on May 28 before U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Edgardo Ramos. Inner City Press covered it.

Judge Ramos gave the parties until June 1 to work it out, and said he hoped to never see them again. They laughed, after having thanked him for agreeing to the conference so quickly.

The business of the law continues - in another case on May 28, Judge Ramos told the lawyers that he too had once worked at a law firm.

This case is Holborn Corporation v. Ramsdell, 20-cv-4045 (Ramos).
