Mark Cini Despite Bomb and Beautiful Boys Talk Was Released by SDNY in White Plains

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Decrypt - LightRead - Honduras - Source

SDNY COURTHOUSE, March 23 -- Mark Cini was given a ticket in December 2019 for urinating on a police vehicle in Nyack, New York.

Then, according to prosecutors, he began planning to bomb the Nyack Police Department   Cini was arrested on March 6 with a saran-wrapped tube of gunpowder on which he had written "Final Solution." After arrest and Miranda warnings, he said he is attracted to "beautiful boys."

On March 20 Cini was ordered released on $100,000 bond by U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrate Judge Lisa M. Smith, at the White Plains courthouse.

On March 22, Assistant US Attorney Kyle A. Wirshba wrote to the SDNY Part 1 Judge - Chief Judge - Colleen McMahon that Cini should not be released.

On March 23 as Inner City Press covered bond hearings before SDNY Judge Jed S. Rakoff in Courtroom 23B and Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave in 24B, lawyers came out of Judge McMahon's 24A Courtroom. Her deputy helpfully told Inner City Press that condition of release had been upheld but tightened up. The case is US v. Cini, 20-mj-2652 (Smith).
