Man Who Says False Arrest for Jaywalking Let to Genital Touching Cites New Discovery Info

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell Book
BBC-Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN NY Mag

SDNY COURTHOUSE, May 11 –  A man who says police falsely accused him of jaywalking on Castle Hill Avenue in the Bronx in 2014 and then assault him included touching his genitals sued and, the City says, settled.

On May 11, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge John G. Koeltl held a conference. Inner City Press covered it.

The City's Corporation Counsel said a settled was already reached, and should be signed, along with a General Release and a W9.

The plaintiff insisted there is new information.

The case is  Lastra v. City Of New York et al., 16-cv-3088 (Koeltl)
