Hedge Fund Manager Sante Ventures Was Sued For Unjust Enrichment Now Next Is Sept 22

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell Book
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, April 7 – Youngjoo Rhee sued Austin, Texas-based hedge fund manager Sante Ventures for unjust enrichment.

On February 28, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Lewis J. Liman held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Judge Liman granted part of Sante's motion to dismiss with prejudice, but allowed parts to go forward.

The parties agreed that three weeks for discovery should be enough - then, a bit more, into April.

On April 7 Judge Liman held another conference, and Inner City Press was again there. Judge Liman recounted that Magistrate Judge Moses told him of the inability to reach settlement, adding that she had not hold him the parties' position. He set a next conference for September 22, saying he is "indifferent" whether it is in person or by phone, which he said seems more convenient for the parties. Indeed.

The case is Rhee v. Sante Ventures, 21-cv-4283 (Liman)
