Copycat Textile Case Tracks To Abandoned Times Square Office Before SDNY Judge Failla

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - The Source

SDNY COURTHOUSE, June 16 – Fiesta Fabric says it composed an original two-dimensional artwork for purposes of textile printing - and that Ross Stores, d/b/a in New York as Live 4 Truth, stole it.

On June 16 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Katherine Polk Failla held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

The lawyer for Live 4 Truth said her client's work space is south of Times Square in the Garment District but that she dare not visit it.

Judge Failla said that when she does, it will be a good sign for New York.

The case is Gold Value International Textile, Inc. v. Ross Stores, Inc. et al., 20-cv-3235 (Failla).
