Vazquez in Attica While New Jersey Evidence Goes Tale So Transcript Ordered Up in SDNY

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - The Source

SDNY COURTHOUSE, July 22 –     Juan Vazquez is in Attica, with a pending appeal in New Jersey. As such his Violation of Supervised Release proceeding keeps getting pushed back.

On July 22 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Valerie Caproni held a VOSR proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

The concern expressed was that the evidence is getting stale.

The AUSA said it will take a month to even get the New Jersey transcript. Vazquez' lawyer then has a concern about being able to speak with her client, saying that no video or telephone hook up from Attica to SDNY is possible.

So it was all pushed down the road.

The case is US v. Vazquez, 15-cr-624 (Caproni)
