Port Authority Is Sued For Discrimination By 2 Latinos With Fact Discovery to July 9

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, June 10 – Daniel Espinoza and Victor Rosado sued the Port Authority of NY & NJ for racial discrimination.

On June 10, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Judge Netburn extended fact discovery for what she said would be the final time, to July 9.

She said the motion for summary judgment is due August 9, and expert discover would take place if the case survives.

In that case, there will be no second motion for summary judgement.

The case is Espinoza et al v. Port Authority of NY/NJ, 19-cv-258 (Torres / Netburn)
