Man Charged With Robbing Bronx Phone Stores Did The Same In Boston SDNY Is Told

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Jan 10 – Akeem Lahens is accused of robbing a mobile phone store at 615 East Tremont in the Bronx on August 10, 2020, then another one at 607 East 187 Street on August 21. He is also accused of a robbery in Boston.

On January 8, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Vernon S. Broderick held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Judge Broderick asked about the Boston allegation, is it a state or Federal case? State, was the answer. He asked if the SDNY AUSA was in contact with the lawyers in Massachusetts. Sort of.

He set the next conference for February 24.

The case is USA v. Lahens, 20-cr-696 (Broderick)
