Falu For Selling Oxy On Elliot Place In The Bronx Gets Year and a Day That Is 10 Months

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Dec 7 – Nicholas Falu was up for sentencing on December 7 after pleading guilty to selling oxy and pot on Elliot Place in the Bronx near Walton Avenue.

On December 7 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York  Judge Sidney H. Stein  held the sentencing. Inner City Press covered it.

The US Attorney was asking for 37 to 46 months. Judge Stein asked questions, including his now standard Why did you do it? He likes an honest answer.

He told Falu, I think you are going to be OK, and sentenced him to a year and a day, saying that would work out to 10 months.

The case is US v. Falu, 19-cr-795 (Stein)
