SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 22 – Dora Ampong sued
Costco Wholesale Corp. for
injuries she says were
sustained at the Costco at 1
Westchester Avenue on December
19, 2019. Costco says video
disproves it, and has been
resisting depositions.
On September 22,
2022, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Magistrate Judge Stuart
D. Aaron held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
Judge Aaron said
that while the plaintiff might
have credibility issues, the
defendant had to comply with
discovery and court orders. He
denied their motion to quash,
and ordered the deposition(s)
to take place.
The case is
Ampong v. Costco Wholesale
Corp., 21-cv-2049 (McMahon /
Aaron)
