As Pepsi Pursues Damages For Gatorade Powder On Ship Discovery Due On Dec 18

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell book
BBC - Honduras - CIA Trial book - NY Mag

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Nov 24 – Hapag-Lloyd Aktiengesellschaft, as owner of M/V Yantian Express is embroiled in a dispute with Pepsi about Gatorade powder damaged during shipping between Sri Lanka and Nova Scotia.

On November 23, 2022, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrate Judge Robert W. Lehrburger held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

HLA questioned how much damage Pepsi suffered, and asked for proof.

Judge Lehrburger ruled that Pepsi must, by December 18, comply with the requests and that "whether any such material may be used in the London proceeding is to be determined in that forum."

The case in SDNY is In the Matter of Hapag-Lloyd Aktiengesellschaft, 19-cv-5731 (Woods / Lehrburger)
