Chinese Bath Company Suing In SDNY Files Signed Deal to Pay Before Chinese New Year

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Feb 24 – Xiamen Wally Bath Manufacture Co., Ltd sold bath products to Tri-Coastal Design Group, which then went out of business, was sued, and didn't show up.

On February 24, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Jesse M. Furman held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Judge Furman asked counsel for Wally Bath whether there was a signed copy of his client's Letter of Understanding - Agreement with Tri-Costal that was signed.

The answer during the proceeding was unclear. But afterward, a signed copy was filed - with a reference to payment "prior to the Chinese New Year."

The case is Xiamen Wally Bath Manufacture Co., Ltd v. Tri-Coastal Design Group, Inc., 20-cv-9604 (Furman)
