SDNY COURTHOUSE, June 7 – Bluebird Reinsurance Company Ltd. v. ParkWest Advisors Group, LLC Bluebird Reinsurance Company sued ParkWest Advisors Group, LLC over a $500,000,000 loan. Now the latter has stopped paying its lawyer.

On June 7, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge John P. Cronan held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

ParkWest's lawyer said he is owned $100,000. Bluebird in its complaint demanded $400,000 in breach of contract damages, and two other payments of $500,000.

Judge Cronan agreed to let him out of the case; he agreed to ask his (former) client if it will consent to a default, or at least give its address for service of a motion for default.

The case is Reinsurance Company Ltd. v. ParkWest Advisors Group, LLC, 20-cv-4481 (Cronan)
