By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Oct 11 – Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan has been sued by Gramercy Advisors LLC "the willful and unjustifiable breach of his express contractual agreement to indemnify and save Gramercy harmless from and against all claims arising out of Khan's pursuit of aggressive tax shelters strategies in the early 2000s."

So how is he allowed to buy and own the Jaguars, by the NFL which bans others?

The case is in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York where Inner City Press which covers the court every day found it in the docket. It is assigned to Judge Paul G. Gardephe. Magistrate Judge Katharine H. Parker is also assigned.

Gramercy is represented by Cadwalader, which seeks a trial; Khan is is of October 11 unrepresented.

The case is Gramercy Advisors LLC et al. v. Khan, 21-cv-8302 (Gardephe)
