Cuomo Is Sued By Italianissimo For COVID Lockdowns But Lawyer Asks For More Time

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, March 29 – Andrew Heidel doing business as The Way Station, along with PO Italianissimo sued Governor Andrew Cuomo over the COVID shut-down orders.

On March 29, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge P. Kevin Castel held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Judge Castel asked for the status of other cases against the lockdown.

The Governor's and New York State's lawyer, saying he had just gotten vaccinated at a Department of Health facility, said the government is busy and he needed more time to respond.

Judge Castel gave him until April 26 to file a motion to dismiss.

The case is Heidel, et al v. Cuomo, et al., 20-cv-10462 (Castel)
