Daily
Harvest is
subject to a
growing number
of lawsuits,
and has now
been asked
about its
openness to a
global
settlement.
On November
29, 2022, U.S.
District Court
for the
Southern
District of
New York
Magistrate
Judge Sarah L.
Cave held a
proceeding.
Inner City
Press covered
it.
One of the
complaints
recounts how
Daily Harvest
manufactured,
packaged,
distributed
and sold
adulterated
and/or
contaminated
"French Lentil
+ Leek
Crumbles."
Judge
Cave listened,
then asked the
parties to
file a joint
status letter
by February 28
regarding
whether
scheduling a
global
settlement
conference
would be
productive and
if so, when to
hold it in
April.
She
noted she is
on criminal
duty in the
Magistrates
Court April
10-14, 2023.
One
case is
