Case About $110M Loan in San Fransisco, Filed in 2010, Inches Toward SDNY Trial Calendar

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, August 5 – CP III Rincon Towers sued Richard C. Cohen over a $110 million loan to real property in San Francisco.

On August 5, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Jesse M. Furman held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Talk was of when to hold this civil trial.

Judge Furman said he has not fewer than three criminal trials all scheduled to start December 6, though it is possible that one or more or all three may be resolved before trial, as happened earlier in the day when a guilty plea obviated a six to eight week trial which had been set to start in October.

This case, first filed in 2010, is CP III Rincon Towers, LLC. v. Cohen,10-cv-4638 (Furman)
