Damage To NYU Building In 2012 Still Live Issue In 2020 in SDNY Insurance Dispute

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Oct 19 –   An NYU building at 129 Third Avenue was damaged from next door at 133 Third Avenue on December 5, 2012.  

 On October 19 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrate Judge Barbara Moses held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it. 

 Judge Moses noted how long the case has been pending.

 In September 2020 - eight years after the incident -- Federal Insurance Company wrote in saying questions include whether the policy covers the temporary stair tower."  

The case is Coral Realty, LLC et al v. Federal Insurance Company, 17-cv-1007 (Swain / Moses)
