Oxy Conspirator Was Not Ready To Plead Feb 16 But Now Does On Feb 22 Sentencing June 1

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Feb 16 – Lorry Gonzalez, charged in an oxy conspiracy, wrote on February 11 to ask to plead guilty as soon as possible.

On February 16, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Gregory H. Woods held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

It emerged that Ms. Gonzalez was not quite ready to plead guilty.

Judge Woods inquired into it, then agreed to set another charge of plea proceeding on February 22. Inner City Press covered that one as well. This time, Ms. Gonzelez did plead guilty. And her sentencing was set for June 1 at 11 am.

The case is US v. Gonzalez, 20-cr-425 (Woods)
