Anonymous SDNY Lawsuit Against East Side Club Is Stayed Inner City Press Withholds Name

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, March 17 – A lawsuit was filed on December 5, 2018 against East Side Club, LLC and others. But more than two years later, the complaint is still not available in the docket.

On March 17, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Katharine Polk Failla held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

While for the complaint it says "This document is not available," in the docket is an e-mail about Plaintiff's political asylum application... We have the absolute right to all documents that are relevant to [NAME REDACTED VOLUNTARILY BY INNER CITY PRESS] emotional damage and/or mental illness."

Now the case is stayed, pending the John Doe plaintiff's submission due April 16.

The case is styled John Doe 1 v. East Side Club, LLC et al., 18-cv-11324 (Failla)
