UN GATE / SDNY COURT, June 16 –  Inner City Press on 5 July 2018 was banned from entering the UN, two day after it was physically removed from conducting interviews outside meeting about the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres' $6.7 billion budget.

  Then Guterres' Department of Global Communication, run by Melissa Fleming, issued a letter banning Inner City Press from the UN - for life. With no due process, no right of appeal.  Guterres has put the UN in the US Press Freedom Tracker, here. Guterres' Spokesman Stephane Dujarric falsely promised on camera that he would be answering banned Inner City Press' questions - but see below.

     On June 16 after Guterres again refused to answer but the IMF did answer, here, and before an amateur UN noon briefing not by Stephane "French Whine" Dujarric, previously the face of UN lies on cholera in Haiti, but by his now equally rape-denying associate Eri Kaneko Inner City Press submitted yet more questions (blocked by Dujarric's screener Florencia Soto Nino on +1 917 226 7816 and Dujarric himself on +1 917 622 7652; he directed some favored scribes to Eri Kaneko on +1 917 208 8910, who now blocks Inner City Press on WhatsApp as well) including on the basis on which it continues to be lawlessly banned from entering to ask questions in person. Now also on the basis for withholding publicly funded UN video from the Press. There was no answer from Farhan Haq on +1 917 592 4591, not even a confirmation of receipt, and now UN official like Hua Jiang, Eri Kaneko, now on screen Jennifer Confilio, Adam Smook, Marisela Rivera and others to be named taking public money for a UN briefing blocking email questions about the UN's spread of Covid 19 - May 21 Inner City Press video with commentary here and here, edit here , June 16 video of Kaneko who had briefing go dark and never returned to explain here and here -- who will be held accountable? Inner City Press asked:

June 16-1: On the Coronavirus Covid-19 and the UN in South Sudan, immediately provide Inner City Press which has asked for a month SG Guterres' response now to the petition to him from South Sudanese about UNMISS spreading COVID-19, precisely as Inner City Press has asked you all repeatedly in writing, and audibly asked Guterres on Sutton Place, twice now and why he/you are not complicit. Please confirm that UNMISS was told to not permit Inner City Press to ask it / SRSG Shearer or his Francesca Mold any questions. What comment, now that South Sudan's Vice-President Riek Machar has tested positive for coronavirus - and SG Guterres declined for the third time to answer Inner City Press' South Sudan (and SEA) questions what you have refused to answer? 

On Tanzania and public interest law, what are the comments and actions if any of SG Guterres and his (how long? no more 5 year rule?) USG For Legal Affairs on that Tanzania lawmakers recently (June 10) passed a bill that outlaws public interest litigation. It says any individual seeking to use the measure must show the extent to which a law “has affected such a person personally.”  A key plank of the law also bars suits being brought against the president, vice-president, prime minister, speaker and deputy speaker of the parliament and the chief justice. All such processes are to be directed to the Attorney General.  The bill is awaiting assent from President John Pombe Magufuli, but a digital rights group is urging the president against signing the bill into law. 

On Kenya and SEA, on which you refuse to answer Press questions about the UN's growing number of cases, what are the comments actions if any of SG Guterres and separately his Resident Coordinator Sid on that   An American missionary accused of sexually abusing girls at an orphanage he ran in western Kenya has pleaded guilty to the charges in a US court, local media in Philadelphia report.  Gregory Dow is likely to serve up to 16 years in prison... He committed the crimes between October 2013 and September 2014.  Mr Dow fled Kenya in September 2017 to avoid prosecution after police were tipped of the abuses.

 On UN corruption (and racism), please immediately and on deadline describe the recruitment process for the P4 Political Affairs Officer in the secretariat Branch of SCad and whistleblowers' complaints to Inner City Press that it is destined in advance for Hirofumi Goto  

 Also relatedly provide UN response to "Japan pushes for more top UN positions"

 On Cameroon, past deadline, what are the comments and actions if any of SG Guterres on Paul Biya's government ARRESTING people for distribution face masks and other PPE to combat COVID-19.

On UN sexual exploitation and abuse, on specific cases of which each of you has refused to answer Inner City Press' questions, and specifically the DRC, immediately provide SG comment and action if any on the report stating that “The complaints mechanisms] appear to produce no information with regards to occurring cases of sexual exploitation and abuse”

Immediately state why Amina J. Mohammed is not a signatory to "On the Black Lives Matter Protests and other Mass Demonstrations against Systemic Racism and Police Brutality - Joint reflexions by United Nations Senior African Officials" and describe any and all Secretariat (and separately, SG Guterres and USG Fleming) involvement in soliciting, drafting and circulating the letter / op-ed.

On COVID and corruption, beyond that at the UN, what are the comments and acitons if any of SG Guterres on that a Zimbabwean businessman is due to appear in court for a bail hearing, charged in connection with a multimillion-dollar coronavirus medicine and equipment procurement scandal.  Delish Nguwaya is facing two charges of misrepresentation and fraud after he allegedly tried to secure contracts to supply a state firm. 

  In Cameroon, WHO on April 28 gave the government 14 vehicles citing COVID-19. How do the UN - and SG Guterres - assess the Biya government's response to Coronavirus in Cameroon and its prisons? 

In Honduras, President JOH talked up hydroxychloroquin - what does SG Guterres say about that, and about JOH named today in narco-trafficking complaint in SDNY against former Honduran National Police Chief Tigre Bonilla?
