At UNCTAD After UNSG Antonio Guterres Lied To Staff On Race Biased Bias Trainer Durant

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Song I  Doc
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

UN GATE, June 1 –  Antonio Guterres' four and a half years as UN Secretary General have consisted of diplomatic failures, cover-ups of UN sexual abuse and UN bribers, including his own connections with convicted briber CEFC China Energy, and banning of the Press that asked.

The whole UN system has been corrupted, with hypocrisy and racism institutionalize, normalized. Today's example is UNCTAD:

After UNCTAD's Secretary-General Mukhisa Kituyi left to contest the presidential elections in Kenya, his ASG deputy, former Belgian politician Isabelle Durant, took over in the interim.

While many directors despair about her continued lack of grip on substance, she has decided to make her mark by talking about gender. She released a memo in which she discouraged managers from appointing any men at junior levels and told the organization's millennial men, many of whom are from developing countries, to grin and bear it. The staff council looked into the matter and reported that contrary to what she was saying about women being disadvantaged, Durant's own data showed that women applicants at UNCTAD have a 50 percent higher chance of getting selected or promoted than men. There was no reaction from her on being caught out.

She then released a video on tackling unconscious biases.

The only problem, it featured three women, all of whom were white. The fact that two of the three heads of trade agencies in Geneva are black (Ngozi from Nigeria and Coke-Hamilton from Jamaica) passed her by or perhaps succumbed to her own unconscious bias.  Meanwhile staff from the global south have complained at the way she has surrounded herself with women of European descent, keeping those of colour at a distance. She also appointed her fellow Belgian assistant as the pompously titled Chief of Staff.  Fortunately her reign will end soon - her contract expires in December."

So she may go - but Guterres will be foisted on the world including Africa for five more years, by faux transparency mission Estonia. ACT is an act. Watch this site.

Guterres, charged with racism by his own staff, is poised to steal a second term as SG by blocking all opponents - Inner City Press submitted the required letter and C.V. to force a much needed debate on UN censorship - including by sending a hypocritical letter to staff. Just like Durant.

If the UN is to retain or even regain any of its credibility, there can be no second term. Just say no to Guterres. Song I here. Watch this site.
