As Vaccinated Guterres Leaves UN Staff UNprotected An UNnecesary Death at UNESCO

By Matthew Russell Lee & sources, Exclusive

UN GATE, March 2 –The UN is corrupt and proofs are falling every day like the snow in New York, where Antonio Guterres is trying to steal a second term. Guterres has gotten vaccinated against COVID, without any word whether other UN staff can do so. ILO, anyone?  M

Meanwhile, On 9 February, Inner City Press wrote about the criminal incompetence of the DG of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay and her senior management team (here).

Now the tragedy we warned about did occur. Mr Faraj, a UNESCO staff, father of two, passed away yesterday, infected by the coronavirus at his workplace, following an insane instruction from his supervisor to work over a weekend in open-space conditions.

The maneuverings of Azoulay and ADG/Admin Nicholas Jeffreys on how best to escape from accountability in that extremely harmful for their reputation case, started soon after the news about his death.

The risk taken by both of them not to care about staff in general, resulted in the loss of a human life and became one of the most insuperable problems that Audrey Azoulay will have to face in her most probably unique term in office. It will remain on her conscience if she has any.

Today, the Staff Union sent the following message to all employees:   “From: STU Secretariat Sent: Tuesday, March 2, 2021 3:37:19 PM To: Liste.UNESCO-HQ Liste.UNESCO-FIELD

 Subject:  Tribute to Hadi     STU/69th Council/21/008  2 March 2021

Dear Colleagues,  It is with immense sadness that we have learned of the demise that took place yesterday of our colleague Hadi Faraj. Many among us have shared unforgettable moments with him, among others during the Inter-Agency Games. We will keep a fond memory of him, of his generosity, of his integrity, of his dedication to work, of his sense of responsibility, of his kindness and his luminous smile. Our thoughts go to his family, in particular to his wife, our colleague Amina, and their two children. We will bring to them any assistance “that they may need. Cordially, The STU Council.”

The message has been sent in the afternoon. At the same moment, in a sadistic perversion, DG Azoulay requested the ADG/Admin Nicholas Jeffreys to pay, during a virtual meeting, an official tribute to the deceased UNESCO staff member. In short, the same ADG Nicholas Jeffreys who took the pernicious decision to expose KMI staff to the risks of COVID-19 infection, that led to the decease of Mr Hadi Faraj, was designated to speak publicly and pay homage to him.

This is another reason that Guterres - and Azoulay - must go.

Our sincere condolences to the family of Mr Faraj. We will have more on that. Watch this site.
