UNESCO States Complicit in the DG Fraudulent Election As Worse Scam For Guterres in NY

By Matthew Russell Lee & sources, Exclusive

UN GATE, April 11 –  Despite all the exposure in national and international press, despite another very strong letter, here, sent by the President of the General Conference of UNESCO, H.E. Altay Cengizer, which reached a surprising level of uprightness by all degraded UN standards, even under Antonio Guterres intent on stealing a second term in New York where he lives alone in a mansion, despite all evidences documented about the financially and politically corrupted administration of the French DG Audrey Azoulay, influent member states still opt for keeping their eyes and mouths shut and for doing nothing to restore the UNESCO credibility and respect for its procedures.

Yet, the letter by President Cengizer is very clear - the Cabinet of Azoulay was by no means authorized to campaign for her reelection. This is actually a very serious misconduct and in every normal UN organization, it would have triggered off already an internal investigation by IOS. But is UNESCO still a “normal” organization under the French ruling? Only few Ambassadors in Paris think so, apart from the usual sycophants from the EU, Jordan, Senegal, Morocco, Ethiopia, Tunisia and more recently Egypt.

The financial scandals with misappropriation of funds in large proportions by the French administration of UNESCO, and the unique at the UN level spying scandal that shook the Paris-based Agency only weeks ago were duly exposed in a number of our articles.

Inner City Press then wrote this month about the spoiling of the democratic electoral process for the Head of UNESCO with the candidate from Kyrgyzstan not only pushed out from competing, but then under severe pressure by the French, totally silenced.  By the deadline of 15 March 2021, MBA MOKUY had received two nominations: the one from France - the current DG, A. Azoulay, and the one of Kyrgyzstan - A.B. Beishenaliev, Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Inner City Press first reported how he was made to drop out, here.

A source pointed out in this regard: “The Chairman of the Executive board, Agapito MBA MOKUY did not have any authority to eliminate a candidacy. Not having announced it was an outrageous misstep by the Chair and the whole selection process got dirtied.

At the very same moment, when Azoulay was calling the President of Kyrgyzstan, Agapito was having an urgent meeting with the Kyrgyz Ambassador to UNESCO in his office. Would anyone ever believe that those parallel meetings happened by chance? People are not stupid and they see clearly that both Azoulay and Agapito are embroiled in dancing cheek to cheek a dirty diplomatic tango”, he added.

Instead of taking measures to clean the flawed procedure from the legitimate suspicions by extending the candidacies deadline for another few months, Board members plan to interview DG Azoulay on 14th of April for the second mandate.

In addition to all prearranged questions, the five following ones may be asked to Madam Azoulay by those States which still care about accountability and good governance at UNESCO:

  1) When would you consider to have pocketed enough tax-payers money and stop misusing public funds? With a father millionaire, how come you still feel poverty-stricken enough to embezzle public funds from unsuspecting member states?

2) Was the French spying team able to identify the whistleblowers within UNESCO and if so, what is the planned sentence for those daring to disclose the truth? Did the spying team help you to discover that a second candidacy was underway?

3) Why did you call the President of Kyrgyzstan on the same day when the scandal about their eliminated candidacy was getting a momentum in Paris? Out of 193 states, how come Kyrgyzstan got to be the first one on your to-do list of priorities?

4) What is the assignment given by you to the member of your Cabinet, the French Fabrice Aidan? For the record, Aidan was the closest collaborator of Terje Roed-Larsen, the former UN top Mideast envoy, who benefitted personally from the generosity of the notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. So, what is Fabrice Aidan doing at present in your Cabinet?

5) What is the influence of the father-in-law of Nicolas Kacyanides, your chief of Cabinet, for keeping him in the current position long after the exposure of all perpetrated abuses of power and violation of regulations? Also, what sanctions do you plan to inflict against those Cabinet members who openly campaigned for you ?

This is where UNESCO stands today, a UN agency ravaged by greed and financial misappropriations, propitious to the flourishing of abuse of power, corruption and nepotism. Watch this site.
