In UNGA Circus of Censorship Guterres Supports South Sudan Including Its Rape in NY

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell book
BBC - Honduras - CIA Trial book - NY Mag

UN GATE, Sept 18 – Just before the UN's hyped and often decadent General Assembly week, Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Sunday, September 18 "met with Mr. Hussein Abdelbagi Akol, Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan. The Secretary-General and the Vice President discussed the implementation of the Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS). The Secretary-General assured the Vice President of the full support of the UN."

But as Inner City Press reported, not mentioned by and covered up by Guterres,

After a UN Ambassador from South Sudan raped a woman in upper Manhattan then was released, citing his UN diplomatic immunity, Inner City Press at noon on August 23 asked UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres' spokespeople Stephane Dujarric and Melissa Fleming for

"UN comment on South Sudan dip evading rape charge (mis)using diplomatic immunity? He followed victim into her Manhattan apartment about noon, and then raped her twice. #NoonBriefing."

Two days later, no answer at all. Other media asked the South Sudan Mission (Inner City Press published a list of its UN Ambassador here, including the rapist Charles Dickens Imene Oliha) and even the US State Department, which rarely stands up to the UN's impunity, including its banning of Inner City Press.

On August 24, the US State Department dodged or bought time. On August 25, Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel, while taking two separate questions from Voice of America, refused to take this Press question, about what the State Department is in fact doing to attempt to ensure that this rapist diplomat doesn't just leave the US.

(Also, no one asked nor was the Press questions taken about UN Bachelet punting on Xinjiang - but that's another story).

Again, this is on Antonio Guterres, who has covered up dozens of rapes, and bans the Press that asks about it.

Meanwhile Spokespeople Stephane Dujarric and Melissa Fleming gripped and grinned, for money, with the spokesman of the Qatar ministry of foreign affairs Dr Majed Mohamed Hassan Abdullah al-Ansari and took selfies. Anything for a buck.

On September 12 banned Inner City Press asked Guterres and his spokespeople Stephane Dujarric and Melissa Fleming, still without answer, "On Egypt and COP 27 what are the comments and actions if any of SG Guterres on the accusations against the Egyptian government for severely curtailing the ability of environmental groups to carry out their work, even as it prepares to host the COP27 climate summit in November"? What a scam.
