UN GATE / SDNY COURT, Nov 11 – The United Nations under SG Antonio Guterres turns people into thieves and censors.

This week's example in Stephanie Tremblay. Back on September 30, 2021 she got paid, over-paid some say, to be the UN's spokesperson.

She held the UN noon briefing and pretended to answer all questions posed. But she didn't, not then and not in the hours and now months after.

Stephanie Tremblay lied. Then she lied again.

Jump cut to November 11, 2022 - Tremblay has taken yet more of the public's money, while every weekday receiving but refusing to answer Press questions. On this Friday reading from notes she said, "about the Global Townhall 2022 online event called ‘Sustaining Peace and Development in a Divided World’, that’s [linked to] Myanmar. I can tell you that the UN had no role in determining participation in the event.  That was a matter for the organizers.      The UN informed the organizers that its senior officials were no longer in a position to participate.     And that's it for me. And I'm sure you have questions."  Well, Inner City Press submitted questions that were not answered.

And we note that National Unity Government Deputy Foreign Minister U Moe Zaw Oo said, "When I entered the link to participate in the Global Town Hall as a discussant after the key note speech, I was sent to the breakout room. Then I was informed that I had been removed from the agenda due to a complaint from the UN," and that FPCI director Dr. Dino Patti Djalal told him that Global Citizen was told by a high level UN official to drop NUG representatives from the meeting because the world body was afraid of appearing to take sides by inviting them.

But Guterres and Melissa Fleming ban real questions from "their" briefing room, corrupt.

   On Nov 9, Tremblay took a question read out verbatim from a belated press release by the US Mission's Ambassador Chris Lu, about the UN rapist Elkorany case Inner City Press has asked UN Spokespeople including Tremblay about, in writing, since 2020, with no answer.

 After that cover up, Tremblay on November 9 lied that her office and Big Boss Tony Guterres care so much about UN rapists - yeah, so much they cover up for them. These are crimes. Video here.

On Nov 8 Tremblay came to the podium and read out propaganda press releases then took questions from Qatar state media, then Chinese state media CCTV in support of Qatar and FIFA, and again correspondent who did a fundraiser with Ghislaine Maxwell. Video here. But no answer to Inner City Press' e-mailed questions, including on November 8 about Mali and Liberia, both ill-served by the UN. This is theft.

 Inner City Press emailed to tremblay [at] un.org, her email address listed on the Office of the Spokesperson's website, a number of written questions, including on Ghana, COP 27, Somalia, and UN rapist Karim Elkorany - and no answer.   Not during the briefing, and not afterwards.

Tremblay's refusal to respond in any way to the factual question about the UN's own data line about child rape by Peruvian peacekeeper in CAR is particularly ironic, or ghoulish, in the Tremblay worked for and was paid by the UN Office of Children and Armed Conflict.

Inner City Press to be fair waited. And waited. Nothing.

This is simply stealing public money, particularly given the polite letter from the Quinn Emanuel law firm sent in July to the UN's Melissa Fleming and the UN's partners - which will sell access to Guterres on December 9 by Wall Street, Kate Hudson by the Hudson, here. No answers, though receiptwas confirmed here.

And note that Stephanie Tremblay's boss Stephane Dujarric said, on camera, "We continue to answer e-mailed questions from Mr Lee/ Inner City Press," here.
