SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 24 – The five-count
indictment of NYC's current
Mayor Eric Adams was unsealed
in the U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Magistrates Court. Inner
City Press was the first one
in and live tweeted it. City

In the
months after, Inner City Press
covered Zohran Mandani's media
events, from the sidewalk
beside City Hall to the loud
subway entrance under the
Municipal Building.
Soon
Zohran was more popular and
his locations were only
provided upon RSVP. On June
24, he beat Andrew Cuomo,
perhaps dissuading Cuomo from
re-running as an independent.
But still
there is Eric Adams.

On February 14
after 6 pm, DOJ's Edward
Sullivan filed a nolle
prosequi.
On April 2, SDNY
Judge Dale E. Ho "dismissed
this case with prejudice."
Less than
a day later, at the deadline
to file petitions to run in
the Democratic primary, Adams
announced by video he will run
as an independent - and cited
"Government Gangsters."
On Sunday April 6
at a Rent Freeze rally in
Sunset Park, Adams was
denounced as "working for
billionaires" - Inner City
