medical expert Doctor Chandru
testified that choke hold was
not the cause of Jordan
Neely's death. Inner City

Raiser: If a
person is not rendered
unconscious by the chokehold,
it can't be the cause of

Raiser: How does sickle cell
crisis death work? Penny's
medical expert: The cells are
starved of oxygen Raiser: How
is it different from a
chokehold death? Penny's
medical expert: Sickle cell
crisis is an internal
phenomenon in the body.

Raiser: Let's do some hypos -
a person is high on K2, and
psychotic, and is restrained
and dies. Also, a person is in
a sickling crisis and is
restrained and dies. Are these
chokehold deaths? Penny's
medical examiner: No.
Penny's medical
expert: Doctor Harris was just
speculating. Penny's lawer
Raiser: Is that an appropriate
way to determine a cause of
death? Penny's medical expert:
No.
