Aug 23 – A man who says
NYPD officers beat and false
arrested him when he asked why
there had stopped his nephew
in front of his residence at
818 Home Street in The Bronx
used the officers
involved.
On August
23, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Alvin K.
Hellerstein held a proceeding
and Inner City Press covered
it.
The
plaintiffs says the case
against him was dismissed amid
COVID. He filed the required
Notice of Claim under General
Municipal Law
50-e. The City's
lawyer said they want to file
a motion by October
11.
The case is
Creighton v. Dym, et al.,
23-cv-4002 (Hellerstein)
