Man Who Says NYPD Beat Him on Home Street in The Bronx Sues Now Motion Oct 11

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Aug 23 –  A man who says NYPD officers beat and false arrested him when he asked why there had stopped his nephew in front of his residence at 818 Home Street in The Bronx used the officers involved.

On August 23, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein held a proceeding and Inner City Press covered it.

The plaintiffs says the case against him was dismissed amid COVID. He filed the required Notice of Claim under General Municipal Law 50-e.   The City's lawyer said they want to file a motion by October 11.

The case is Creighton v. Dym, et al., 23-cv-4002 (Hellerstein)
