April 29 – In a drug case
first filed in 2006, involving
a Range Rover on Fenton Avenue
in The Bronx, a man just
extradited from the Dominican
Republic was presented on
April 29 before US District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Barbara C.
Moses. Inner City Press was
there, the only media in the
SDNY Mag court.
Judge
Moses marveled at how old the
case was.
The defendant,
Martinez, had a retained
lawyer from Park Place. He was
detained on consent.
The overall
case is USA v. Martinez,
1:06-cr-1014 (Hellerstein /
Moses)
