SDNY
COURTHOUSE,
Aug 21 – A man sentenced to 80
months in prison in 2019 was
back on violations of
supervised release related to
a slashing and stomping
resulting in a heart attack
death and therefore murder
charges at the state level. It
was before U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Denise L. Cote.
Inner City Press was there.
The defense lawyer noted that
his client had been released
RoR on the state charges and
that it would be more
difficult to address them
while in Federal custody. He
previewed a bail application.
Judge Cote
said that would be separate
from the specifications
themselves, to be considering
in two or three weeks.
The
overall case is US v. Holman,
18-cr-41 (Cote)
