SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 27 – A bail or
detention hearing was held on
July 20, 2023 before U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Stuart D.
Aaron. Inner City Press was
there, the only media in the
SDNY Mag
Court.
The day after his
son was released on $250,000
bond, Hector Antonio Noboa
argued that the son was really
more responsible than he was -
even while his lawyer
emphasized additional help the
father offered to his
daughter.
The father and
son, according to the
complaint, were spotted
sending drugs from a post
office in Philadelphia; a
search of their house found
money counting machines and
pill presses.
Then the
father tried to blame the son.
It didn't work, at least not
for now. Judge Aaron
order the father
detained.
Jump cut to
December 27, 2024 when Hector
Noboa Quezada was indicted and
pled not guilty in the SDNY
Magistrates court; the
indictment has been wheeled
out to Judge P. Kevin Castel.
The case is USA
v. Noboa Quezada, 1:24-cr-715
(Castel)
