On mid October a
slew of cases were filed in
SDNY by the Tony Buzbee Firm,
including one by a man who
states that he was sexually
assaulted by Combs in 2022 in
a luxury home in NYC. He
/ the Buzbee Firm filed as
John Doe, then moved for
anonymity.
On March 28, 2025
the request was denied:
"Plaintiff's renewed motion to
appear anonymously is denied.
Plaintiff shall file an
amended complaint with his
true name" 12 page ruling on

On May 23, after
the plaintiff named himself as
Dexter Withers, Combs' lawyer
pushed to dismiss, citing lack
of "gender animus" and arguing
that it is not enough that the
companies "enable" Combs'
abuse - they must facilitate
it, for the complaint not to
be dismissed. 8 page argument
