COURTHOUSE,
April 10 – Cocaine smuggling
defendants were in the jury
box with US Marshals when
their case was heard on April
10 before U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Edgardo Ramos.
Inner City Press was there,
the only media in the
courtroom.
The
prosecutors said "the cocaine
was distributed across the
U.S. and to Canada, including
through and to California,
Michigan, Indiana, Ohio,
Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and
New York. This
cross-border trade, from
Colombia to the U.S. and
Canada, was lucrative."
The case
was put over to July 10 at
11:30 am, with discovery due
to the defendants by June
10.
The case is
USA v. Singh, et al.,
1:25-cr-68 (Ramos)
