SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 6 – Joseph Belmar is
charged with being a felon in
possession of a firearm and
ammunition, to wit, a High
Standard Sentinel R-100 .22
caliber revolver and Federal
Cartridge Co .22 caliber
bullets.
On July 22, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Kimba M. Wood held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Belmar
pleaded not guilty to the
charges. A control date for
his trial was set.
Jump cut to
November 6, 2023: Belmar's
lawyer has asked for time
served, and now puts in photos
that the bullet hole in Dial a
Deli on 163rd Street in The
Bronx was nine feet high: he
shot up in the air.
The case is US v.
Belmar, 21-cr-16 (Wood)
