Feb 3 – Jack Russell Music Ltd
sued Hapilos for allegedly
diverting music revenues due
to it. The genres cited are
hip-hop, reggae, soca and
dancehall music.
On
February 3 the two sides
appeared before U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Sarah L.
Cave. Inner City Press covered
it.
The
parties said they have
executed a binding settlement
term sheet. Judge Cave set
another conference on March 3
to assess progress, and wished
them well.
The case is
