Sept 16 – FuboTV has sued
Disney, Fox and others or
alleged antitrust violations
in their Venu Sports joint
venture, has this week been
arguing for a preliminary
injunction to halt Venu before
it starts. Inner City Press is
covering it.
On August
8 before U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Margaret
Garnett, defense witness Edwin
Desser was cross examined by
FuboTV's lawyer Rachel
Anderson. Thread.
On August 9,
evidence closed with defense
expert Whinston. Thread
On August 16,
Judge Garnett enjoined the JV:
"re: [94] MOTION for
Preliminary Injunction . filed
by FuboTV Inc., FuboTV Media
Inc.. The Motion is HEREBY
GRANTED. ORDER FOR PRELIMINARY
INJUNCTION."

Judge Garnett set the schedule
going forward, with trial set
to start on... October 6,
2025.
On September 16
FOX moved to sever the
carriage claims against it,
and transfer them to the
Central District of
California, in a redacted
memo.
