detention
proceeding was
held by
Magistrate
Judge Katharine
H. Parker
on a woman
who had surrended
last week in
the Southern
District of
Florida on
wire fraud
charges.

The
Assistant US
Attorney said
his Office had
agreed to
release on
$50,000 bond
and travel
including New
Jersey.
Judge Parker
asked if the
defendant,
Donna Murray,
lives in New
Jersey. No,
her retained
Staten
Island-based
lawyer
answered: she
live in Staten
Island.
The
conditions of
release also
include no
excessive use
of alcohol,
and no
employment in
the finance or
accounting
sectors.
On
September 14,
2023, Murray
was sentenced
to 18 months.
After the
sentencing her
lawyer's memo
was belatedly
docketed,
listing the
victim company
(Loan
Syndications
& Trading
Association
LSTA, and
blaming her
drug addiction
on a car
crash. There
may be other
coverage.
