SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 1 – Miguel Angel
Demoya-Garcia was arrested on
Federal narcotics conspiracy
charges on past 11 pm on
August 31, 2023.
On
September 1, US Marshals
brought him before U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Robert W.
Lehrburger. Inner City Press
was there, the only media in
the SDNY Mag court.
The
Assistant US Attorney
announced that is office had
agreed to release on an
unsecured $100,000 bond, to
live in the Eastern District
of Pennsylvania where he's to
turn in his passport by
September 5. (It will then be
mailed to Pre-Trial Services
in New York).
The defendant had
on glasses, and will get to
keep them.
The day before, a
detained defendant was told no
glasses into the MDC, they
could be turned into weapons.

v. Demoya-Garcia, 23-mj-6280
