SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 7 – Pedro Soto Tejeda was
arrested on November 7 at 7:45
am on federal charges of
selling fentanyl and firearms
in The Bronx.
He appeared
near 4 pm before U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Sarah
Netburn. Inner City was there,
the only media in the SDNY Mag
Court.
The
complaint describes sales in
Mt Eden and on Popham Avenue,
and has a photo of a gun for
sale. The AUSA said
Tejeda is a danger, and a risk
of flight as he "had no legal
status."
His Federal
Defender said he is stable,
pointing at two women in the
gallery. One cried as Judge
Netburn said he must be
detained.
The case is US v.
Soto Tejeda, 23-mj-7094
(Netburn)
