SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 8 – A defendant named Ck
Chikong Tran was arrested in
New York at 6:20 am on
November 8, 2023 on a warrant
from the federal court in the
Northern District of
Alabama.
Tran
appeared at 5 pm before U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Sarah
Netburn. Inner City Press was
there, the only media in the
SDNY Mag Court.
Judge
Netburn told or reminded Tran
that he is charged with mail
fraud and wire fraud.
The AUSA had
agreed to release on $50,000
bond with one financially
responsible person and another
for moral suasion. It seemed
they were in the courtroom
gallery.
The case is
US v. Tran, 23-mj-7135
(Netburn)
