SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 15 – Christian Lora is
charged with the armed robbery
of the apartment of a
marijuana dealer in the Bronx.
On March
15, 2023 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Magistrate Judge
Katharine H. Parker held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
went and covered it.
It
was said Lora is nearing a
guilty plea. But in the
interim, he has medical issues
which, his lawyers argued,
militate against him being
detained. In the complaint,
Lora is described as shot in
the arm, and taken to Lincoln
Hospital.
Judge
Parker agreed, saying he could
be released with a GPS
bracelet - installed right
after the two-part proceeding.
She said she will take the
guilty plea on April 21, in
Courtroom 17D.
The case is
US v. Lora, 22-cr-595 (Marrero
/ Parker)
