COURTHOUSE,
Aug 21 – After an arrest for a
July 25 Bronx armed robbery on
August 15 it was announced,
the defendant argued for
release on back before
Magistrate Judge Sarah L.
Cave.
Inner City
Press was there, in the U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrates Court, the only
media in the SDNY Mag court.
The
Assistant US Attorney argued
for detention, citing danger -
and alluded to seven other
armed robberies committed with
the same car, which he said
was registered to the
defendant (albeit with the
license plates found in the
trunk).
The Federal
Defender, who would soon make
similar arguments for a ghost
gun / machinegun producer,
argued for release on bond.
Judge Cave said You will be
detained for now, but set
another hearing before her for
next week.
On August 21,

says trying to resolve the
case. Probation says he lost
job in Connecticut "due to the
instant offense." Break is
taken...
judge now orders
release on $100,000 unsecured
bond, "hold off on getting a
job, focus on your case[s]."
