SDNY
COURTHOUSE,
Oct 21 – A man convicted of
Hobbs Act robbery in 2020
reappeared on October 18, 2024
in the Magistrates Court of
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York.
Inner City Press was there,
the only media in the SDNY Mag
Court.
Now he was
accused of having 5000
fentanyl pills, a block from
his home. He asked for
released on bond, speaking
several times for himself.
But
Magistrate Judge Sarah Cave
said he would be detained, and
that a VOSR proceeding - he
was previously convicted
before Judge Jed S. Rakoff,
1:19-cr-323-7 - may be coming
soon.
This case
is USA v. Cirino, 1:24-mj-3664
(Cave)
